Here is the latest update on the patch:

The testing of the update is quickly coming to a end with extremely positive results! We just have to get Microsoft and Sony approvals now but we are targeting to have it available near the end of August. The game has an amazing group of fans and we want you to experience this update as soon as possible. Thanks for being patient everyone and we’ll see you online!

how about if you make the DLC and some more stages for free??? since I spend $60 on a game that I haven't even played the online yet

OT: Great, to bad I won`t experience it since I will be gone. Hope this patch will solve the online problems though.

That's good that we finally have some notice on when it will hit, but very bad as the game's population is dropping like flies and it may be far worse at the end of August then it is right now. Is there any way to expediate the process?
