Thoughts on KOF12 now that it's out

Well now that it's out I wanted all impressions on the game. Me, the games ok, but there are some stupid things going on in it. and Im not sure how long it's hold my attention. The game as stated everywhere is bare.
There is only 6 stages and leaves you wandering why they couldn't have at least 10. It hurts me and the people I play with.

VS Mode: you cant back out of the menus so you have to go into a match to exit VS...Stupid and not user friendly. Some characters have 2 supers while some have only 1.

What the F happened to all the talk about the sprites being in HD?!!!!!
The sprites look horrible! They look better than the other KOF, but I have to add the smooth effect x3 in order for it to look almost decent and all it does is make the sprites blurry as crap!!! Why did it take 14 months to make crappy sprites again?! Sorry but BB sprites are CLEAR and CRISP and beautiful...What happened...

With arcade having no boss or story, there feels like there is no point to playing it. My friends were as disappointed as I was. We like playing a game before jumping into VS, but Versus is all there really is to this game. Are there unlockables? I heard there may be art to unlock but...

I do feel the characters are balanced and the gameplay is fun, but the counters should not stop throws and supers... If that was the case AND you had to look low or high while doing them to counter low and high it would be better. Kind of lame. Now if they add an air block and give everyone ALL of there moves, this game would be great.(+story/boss/stages/other modes/taunts/special intros) This game feels like a demo with a decent size roster, but with a poorly chosen cast. But it is another KOF game.

I'd say if I had to rate this game. It'd be a 6.5 out of 10. SF4 would be a 5 maybe. BB would be 9. What do you think people? give your thoughts and give a rating at the end.
