About her outfit... Change her red and white colors? Red and white are Mai's trademark and the colors of Japan's flag, if you didn't notice it... Black and gold is a great ALTERNATIVE color.
Do you know what does it mean redesign? Ogura doesn't forget anything about her RBout outfit...If Mai will be in the game she will wear a new costume inspired on her RBout one, that's all.

You always say stuff that you think or believe as if it where true, but I'm so used to that. I have my right to say I don't like a character, as well as to have my own personal tastes in colours, so I don't get the trademark stuff coment. Btw, wasn't Terry's trademark his hat and his red jacket? then why did they changed those in MOTW? (and in my opinion was for the better, with his originall design he looks to me as if he needed a shower) see? trademarks aren't that important. No, me not talking about your opinion. ¬¬

Screw the flag, Mai's original colours aren't White with Red as the flag, her original colours are red with Yellow: And now you gonna tell us that flag has black too? or brown?

Since Mai was allways dressed in red and white colors I allways have seen in it the colors of Japanese flag, and like Shiranui colors was red and white, because it's Andy's colors too. Maybe it's just my opinion, but I allways see it like something pretty obvious. MI alternative color it's black, but it keeps red and white too.

Red (well, pink) and yellow was a few years a go... I don't really like it, I prefer the red/orange and white/violet from FF Special

I don't have anything against redesign, in fact I'm waiting for a change in Mai. Sometimes I imagine her dressed like setsuka from SC and more mature and serious, but this is a future Mai and in GMOW she wasn't there, so...

I think that that's just a comercial strategy, besides red and white look nice, and with black even better, maybe you are right and "shiranui colours" are red and white but I seriously doubt the flag has something to do with that.

I don't like it -just as every sprite from that game-, but makes me think how much have evolved videogames and fighting games, and also how far a pair of boobs can go even in a bunch of pixels .

I don't like Chris... but I liked a lot Yashiro and Shermie, but so far almost every character has lost many of their special moves, so I doubt they'd take that bother in console characters that moreover are cononically dead. That would take too much time, and in my opinion their normal versions are better than their orochi versions, in my opinion it would be better to make them in their normal versions and instead of giving them orochi power, using that time to make 1 more character... like a bossu, like Adel.

yea orochi versions arent that good(in my opinion to) only orochi shermie was kida good on '98 but beside her the other guys just dont intrest me, and o.chris's DM v.v
