Do fighting games mess up your controllers or Arcade-Sticks?

i didn't really get frustrated with SFIV because it basicly played like every other SF game so it was easy to pick up,but i did get kinda frustrated with some cheap moves demonstrated by Seth .but i mostly "squeeze" controllers when im frustrated,that way you can unleash anger and you csn still keep your controller intact.that's why most of my controllers have just been replaced due to old age.

Personally, it feels weird to use the 360s d-pad and analog stick on fighters. Playing SFIV with the Dualshock 3 made things a whole lot easier but I have yet used an arcade stick outside the arcade.

yeah,i feel the PS3 controller is just better for fighting games than the 360's.i have used Arcade-Sticks outside of the Arcades and it feels weird.i can see how someone who plays at the Arcade alot would feel comfortable with an Arcade-Stick,but i perfer controllers better.but i can play with an Arcade-Stick if i have to.

Ironically ive broken systems not controllers.

Im on my third PS2 the slim one is living exceptionally long.

one of my old fat PS2's just died,i don't know what happened.i was playing CVS2 and POOF! dead.i had to get another fat PS2,i haven't had a problem since with the PS2.i have a PS2 Slim now too.
