Cowboy Bebop Becoming a Live Action Movie and Starring...?

That's right. A live action Cowboy Bebop movie is being made and it's starring none other than Keanu Reeves as Spike Spiegel. That could actually be really good or really funny. What are your opinions about this?

You know, Keanu Reeves could actually work as Spike. The only real negative is his voice as he's never gotten past the Bill and Ted surfer voice which would be rather odd for Spike.

Billy-Bob Thronton as Jet?

Dakota Fanning as Ed?

Sigouney Weaver as Mama?(ok,she's probably not going to be in the movie,but boy Sigourney would be perfect for this role)

David Carradine as Vicious?(this might work,but David may be too old) :(

Bill could get the job done. ( Carradine ) and there was but then again there were several games from what I heard of that series. I havent played em though.

yes,Bill can do it he would have to hit the gym a bit since Jet is kinda muscular,but Billy can definitly do it acting,voice,and looks wise.i thought the PS1 had some Bebop games but im not sure.:confused:

yes,the movie was great i own that one.:D Cowboy Bebop had alot of great episodes,even the ones that were light-hearted and goofy were still good.

IMO Grappler Baki has the best "realistic" (About as realistic as anime/manga gets anyway) fights in any anime. The comic version of Baki is even better until your each the current "Son of Ogre" series which has been shit from the first volume. Shame.

Fist of the North Star (Be it the comic, TV or movie) is a classic but I can't help but feel they've botched every single one of the new movies/OVAs.

Ippo is quite good too but I haven't checked out the recent series. Ashita no Joe is also an excellent boxing anime and a classic series.

i totally agree,that's one of the things i love about Grappler Baki the fights are realistic,and the anime gives alot of knowledge on pressure points and the human anatomy another thing i like about Grappler Baki,awesome characters,great animation,good fights,pretty good story,and the fights are technical fights,and they have very good explanations/demostrations on why said character wins the fight.:D North Star is quite gruesome,but i like it.Ashita no Joe? that actually sounds kinda familar,i will definitly check that one out.:D

As far as anime are conserned Yuyu Hakusho and Jojo's bizarre adventure are my favorites. The Jojo series was actually made into a classic 2d capcom fighter.

But back on topic, I liked cowboy bebop alot. When it was fist televised on adult swim this and yuyu hakusho were the best anime to watch on adult swim other than watching comedy shows like space ghost and the Brack show. The roles that Keanu appears in don't have much personality since the Bill and Ted movies. He's a good actor but for my approval, I'll have to go and see the movie myself.
