I will not lie. I am not a fan of Blue Dragon or Mistwalker. Do I dislike them? Of course not, I simply have little interest in them from an rpg fan standpoint. The reason I'm here though, is Nobuo Uematsu. He is quite simply, my favorite composer ever. Everything music related he touches, turns to gold and Blue Dragon is no exception. His soundtrack for the 360 game was both outlandish yet inventive, harkening back to the 16 bit days but with a modern sound that will occasionally get taken over the top in brilliant fashion. With Blue Dragon Plus he has taken one step further and actually started doing these songs in 16 bit style completely. I simply cannot get enough of them. If there is one reason to pay attention to Blue Dragon it's the music and I will be playing Blue Dragon Plus because of it.
Sorry to be long winded, I just felt the need to share my passion for Nobuo Uematsu. He changed my life with the music of Final Fantasy and everything else he's done has been just as good.
