MS7 is great

Hey everyone,

Just picked up MS7 as a Christmas gift. Glad to see the series is still alive and kicking, next time Leona and Whip should make it in, that way we'd have a full Ikari team alongside Ralf and Clark.

Anyway, my package came with two posters instead of one poster and a bonus CD, I called the game store I grabbed it from and got no help. What am I missing without the bonus cd? and is there a way to get a hold of one?

The bonus CD had a few Metal Slug 7 wallpapers and some trailers for Ignition games like Blue Dragon. Maybe you can swap your copy for a new one or something?

Aside from Leona and Whip it would be cool if they had some briefing room scenes before each mission and could feature Heidern. He fits the Metal Slug style well. Ikari-Kof warriors would control the Metal Slug series if they did that too.

Ahh, it's a bit late to swap the game now, oh well. More Ikari team stuff in Metal Slug would be great, or maybe even a new, full fledged Ikari game.

Realistically though, it would be nice for SNK to release a second volume of Arcade Classics on the PS2 with Ikari Warriors, considering the PS2 controller has two sticks that can mimic the rotary joystick of the old SNK arcade machines. I'd also love to see a proper arcade port of Psycho Soldier on there.

In regards to the topic title, I agree wholeheartedly. I still need to hang, or at least frame, the mini poster. It owns. I have never used the bonus CD, and if that's all it has, I won't really bother. It would've been cool if it had the soundtrack or something.

Anyways, I still never got around to beating it, thanks to picking Street Fighter IV shortly afterwords, but I plan on it soon. The game is awesome.
