I saw the new website and saw that it shows "Games for Windows Live." Which is a disappointment, if thats the only avenue. Is there going to be a Steam version?

It's being published on Steam. It's already in their system.

I'm not sure if the GFWL listing means it uses GFWL for MP, or if they just mean that it'll be sold on GFWL Games on Demand.

Where did you read that Steam is involved? I searched Steam and came up with nothing pertaining to BLTD

Well, just because it isn't showing on the public Steam store, doesn't mean it's not in their system. I don't want to talk about it too much (not sure if it's taboo or not), but there are ways to poke around through Steam's backbone content systems, and find lots of placeholder entries for future games that are already added to their system, but that haven't been released yet, and don't show up in the "Coming Soon" section on the public Steam store.

Don't take my word for it, though. As proof of this, here is a list someone posted of stuff they'd found in the Steam future content database (http://pastebin.com/mnKjfZ3L). As you can see, this was posted back in April, and you'll see a lot of games in the list (Alien Breed, Defense Grid DLC, Eversion, Guns of Icarus, Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers, Puzzle Dimension, Stronghold, Sega Classics, etc) that weren't announced for Steam at that point, or weren't even announced at all, and have since come out on Steam. There's no way this was just lucky guesswork, so, the list is credible.

Anyways, the bottom line (sorry for being a bit long-winded) is that, as you can see, Blacklight is on the list. :)
