Works for me, at least on my computer. I don't think it will play on a standard dvd player. Looks like the dvd is just for holding files. Haven't tried it on a dvd player though so can't say for certain.

Yeah, it says DVD-ROM right on the disc, so I didn't even bother sticking it in a DVD player. I'll probably try playing it on some other computers, but the drive on this system isn't exactly finicky and it will not read the disc.

EDIT: Got it to run on a different system, but still no luck on mine. Just spins and spins, but Windows Explorer never pulls anything up.

Other than what's stated on the KOF 98' UM offer site, are there any other notable extras on the extra disc? I still don't have my copy yet but I went to a Gamestop and was happy to see that some of the suggestions I offered up at the old SNK USA forums were actually put to use, like the mini-poster and creation of a bonus disc. They (SNK USA) really did a great step up job with the extras and for that I say thanks for listening. Hopefully, other future releases will include some mini swag for hardcare and ol' skool fans of there company to have here and there.

There's really nothing else other than trailers you've seen already (and the recently released XII trailer). They're in FLV format.

And of course, the slick wall papers. I accessed it easily from inserting the disc into the PS3 and now I have a sick Ralf and Leona background:cool:

funny,the Ralf and Leona background is the exact same background i have as my PS3 wallpaper too i was having a hard time deciding between the Ralf and Leona KOF XII background,or the Terry KOF XII background.but i tried my PS2 and PS3,and the wallpapers were on my PS3 but i couldn't get the trailers to work.the PS3 says the bonus disc is a "Data Disc" so that made me think it's probably just for PC's.cause if it was a DVD disc,the PS3 probably would have said so.:confused:
