A student is facing 10 years for doing this. You can get less than that for killing somebody.

I know. Donte Stallworth got, what, 30 days for running someone over and killing them while high? And now, this kid gets 10 years for wanting to do other things with a game console!? This world is totally ****** up.
I don't mod systems, not because of laws or warranties, but because I don't want to break the system and have to buy a new one. Still, while I don't do it myself, this punishment is FAR too severe for something so trivial. It's just a game console, for crying out loud.
This is why I forever hate the criminal justice system. It's flawed in so many ways, it makes E.T. on the Atari look good.

Reminds me of this article I read about a guy having loli hentai on his computer. If I remember correctly, he got five years when they found that on his harddrive. The law system is really screwed up.

This is why I prefer the PS3 they eliminated most of that BS by allowing me to play JP Games on the standard system too.
