Unfortunantly not very much action going on in this forum, I think this game has alot to prove after being declared a true sequel to a great game and jumping systems, I just wanted to post the reviews I have currently found for this game and you guys can add yours as well, some are in magazines and the full review isnt online but a score and brief quote is.
Review #1: Source: IGN AU 81
"Like Heroes of Mana before it, Blue Dragon Plus is mostly a solid affair, with great production values but a few significant flaws. It's surprising that the pathing and AI is still so poor this long after Brownie Brown's last game – but if it didn't bother you before, you can make the concession in this one."

Review #2: Source: Nintendo Power 80
"While Akira Toriyama's characters seemed a little out of place on the Xbox 360 (host to the original Blue Dragon), they're perfect for a handheld game. [Mar 2009, p.89]"
I havent read the nintendo power review but I am not a fan of the magazine and take the info as a grain of salt, the above quote doesnt hold much water for me since it appears the reviewer was confused about the original game.
Review #3: Source: Game Informer 55 "As much as I enjoyed the world of the original Blue Dragon, I'm just going to pretend this dismal follow-up never happened. [Mar 2009, p.95] "
GI review does worry me, they are usually fairly accurate in reviews but I typically refer to IGN more but to be fair to GI they did give the original Blue Dragon a score of 90, which is about where I stand as well. In my opinon, with the 3 reviews ive currently found BDplus appears to be about dead even on the scale, mainly because we currently have 2 reviews(IGN and GI) that are definently worth taking into consideration but Nintendo Power can largely be ignored.
